This project is aimed at developing an application
that is cross-platform and practical for all primary care practitioners.
It is patient-centric and made to suit the Malaysian environment.
It's objective is to benefit the patient and enable all the doctors
to provide quality care and to support patients in maintaining a
healthy life. The software provides the system necessary to accumulate
data, whether they be patient records, medication information or
records on immunisations, surgical procedures etc. A collaborative
sustainable joint-effort from all parties is needed for continued
development and updates.

- Full-fledged functionality including
System Administration, Clinic & Financial Management, Patient
Management, Prescription Management, Billing Management, Schedule
Management, Assets & Material Management and Medical Resources
- Tailored to the administrative and
clinical needs of primary health care doctors & primary care organizations
- Web based application with Graphical
user interface (GUI) environment developed using Open Source Resources
- The process, procedural and technical
design will reflect input from professionals (i.e. general practitioners),
professional bodies (i.e. Medical Associations) and advise from
participating partners
- Additional sources of information will
come from comparing functions and features published by other
independent software vendors involved in the similar products
and services
- The framework of an extensive network
of medical and clinical information in the general practice environment
eventually extending into more specialized environments
- Platform-independent and focusing on
features that are specific and unique to primary care (e.g. longitudinal
care, clinical practice guidelines (CPGs), quality indicators,
clinical decision tools, etc.)
- The application of coding and classification
specific to primary care mapped onto the coding and classification
used in hospital care for easy reference
